Golf Takes Big Step With Strong Tournament
The William Chrisman golf team had one of its best tournaments in school history as the Bears finished ninth out of 23 teams in the Northland Invitational at Paradise Point (Posse Course) Par 72.
Eli Martin led the team with an 87 had him tied for 16th place, which was a season best.
Davion Lopez and Seth Curtis both shot new personal records with a 92 and 98, respectively. Alec McFarland Shot a 99 and Jeff Parker shot 133.
The Bears finished with a team score of 376, which is the best total in since the 2015 season and just 7 strokes off of the school record.
“It went well,” Martin said. “It means we’re close [to putting it all together].”
