Girls' Locker Room Ready For a New Look This Summer

For William Chrisman female athletes, big changes are coming to the girls’ locker room.
Over the Summer the the new girls locker room will include a new washer and dryer, paint, shower, benches and a “Bear’s Den,” varsity locker area like the boys currently have.
These changes will make the locker room look, “much nicer and improve the moral of coaches and athletes.” says athletic director Greg McGee.
The athletes are excited for the changes that are coming.
“The worst part about our locker room is that the look of it. The paint looks old, it's chipping and the benches are falling apart. I wish they would have renovated it before I left,” says senior Maggie Beem.
A bad attitude towards the sports programs can be a product of a gloomy environment. With these new renovations making the locker room nicer these athletes will be more motivated and ready to make Chrisman sports even better.
“Winning a lot was fun but coming back to that locker room could still bum you out. And after a loss it felt like more of a punch in the stomach,” says junior Sarah Erickson.
