Story By: Arianna Martin and Ke’Anthony Ward
In broadcasting class, Brian Tanis likes to be able to create/ edit stories. His teamwork consist of editing the stories every week with his group as they shoot, write and edit their project for C-TV.
He would love to take this class again. He said it is “fun” to do stories and he has been in the class since sophomore year.
“B-Roll is your friend and make deadlines,” he advised.
Being in this class lets students experience freedom. When doing stories, no one has a specific job, but rather students work to complete a variety of task,
“Step out of your comfort zones and explore new ideas” Bicardi Hill said.
Allyson Ragan likes doing stories over anything in the school. She is a producer for some of the shows they broadcast, editor for the stories, and sometimes even the cameraman/ woman.
“Be involved. It’s more fun than anything” she said.
Janelle McKelvy likes to have freedom. Her job is the B-Roll interviews and voiceovers. Even though there are benefits to this class; she still wouldn’t want to take the class again because it’s much harder.
“Don’t take advantages of the class,” she commented.
