Golf’s Strong Showing Leads to School Record
The William Chrisman golf team might have finished second to Rockhurst in a triangular that also included Grandview but it did no stop the Bears from accomplishing history.
The Bears show a team score of 185 on the par 36, back-nine course at Drumm Farr to set a school record for lowest team record in a nine-hole match.
Co-Medalist (low score) were Ryan Jenkins of Rockhurst and Chrisman’s Alec McFarland. Both shot 40.
“I am very proud of the progress the boys have shown and a the effort they have put into improving,” coach John Beaman said. “ I think we are still capable of shooting even lower before the season is over.”
