Senior Ciera Perez a Leader in All That She Does

Senior Ciera Perez is a role model in William Chrisman. If you look at the student body you will not find many that are even close to being as involved as she is. Perez is a part of the varsity soccer team, STUCO, national honor society, and the spanish honor society. With all these activities Perez still finished her first semester of her senior year with a class rank of number one.
Outside of school Perez is a very social person spending her free time with friends and playing for her competitive soccer team the KC Blaze. Many friends described Perez as a “lovable person” but mostly “a leader”.
When asked about how her experiences at Chrisman were in the past four years she described how much fun it was to be so involved in everything at Chrisman and the friendships that she made. However what was most important to her was her soccer teammates and the memories that they made.
“I had so many opportunities to grow as a leader and to open up to people by being less shy,” said Perez. Besides the obvious answer of, high school drama, there “ wasn’t a whole lot she didn’t like.”
After high school Perez wants to be a pediatric or neonatal nurse. In order to achieve this goal she will be working to get her bachelor’s of science in nursing. And even though soccer has become one of her loves throughout her life, she is still undecided on playing soccer in college.
Perez has established herself as a model student, friend, and athlete in her four years in high school. many future bears to strive to be as involved and successful as Perez has been in her high school career.
