Cravens Wins Mr. Chrisman Pageant

William Chrisman’s annual male beauty pageant also known as Mr. Chrisman took place last Wednesday, April 27th at 7pm. Tickets were 2$ dollars or 2 cans of food and all proceeds went to holiday helpers.
Mr. Chrisman is a male beauty pageant hosted by Chrisman’s upperclassmen males to perform and see who will win Mr. Chrisman.
This year there was a handful of senior students running for Mr. Chrisman. These students were: Randall Horn, Ronnie Cravens, Robert Ponitatilian, Abdilliahi Dirie, Justin Dickerson, Saul Diaz.
Students were asked how they thought the pageant went, and what they enjoyed most about performing.
Robert Ponitatilian said “It was a blast, and I had lots of fun.” Robert also said he felt like the only thing that could have gone different is if he had won Mr. Chrisman.
Ronnie Cravens and Justin Dickerson both agreed that Mr. Chrisman was a great experience and they felt like everything went smoothly.
Mr. Chrisman was sponsored by multiple business in the independence area. These sponsors provided free meals and small amounts of money to each individual that won in their area. The following sponsors included: Chuck E Cheese, Backyard Burger, Twin Peaks. Chick-fil-A, and On The Border.
Ronnie Cravens was crowned Mr. Chrisman and was the winner of the sponsors. He received a goodie bag full of things from each sponsor and got the title Mr. Chrisman.
Ronnie said “ I was thankful for the opportunity to win Mr. Chrisman, and for all the sponsors who supported this event. And for future classes go try out for it and get involved the memories are well worth it.”
Overall, Mr. Chrisman was a great success, and the students enjoyed not only the time there but the memories they made.
